{a room for her...}

Someday...when I have a little princess...this will be my inspiration to create a room fit to lay her head, dance around, and sing her little heart out...

{Love This!...}

I am so in love with chalkboards! I have a total obsession over the wonderful black canvases! I don't know if it is the wonderful childhood memories or the ability to leave cute little notes and pieces of art all over my house! These people have taken wall art to a whole new level! I can't wait to have a few little ones running around so I have an excuse to paint one of our upstairs walls for them to channel their inner creativity! And I have just the wall to devote to it!

And these are so fabulous! They are made by Rachelle of kenziepoo...

{our master...}

We have been in our house a little over two years and we still have so many projects to come...Our bed is so lonely in our very large and empty master bedroom!

This goes at the foot of our bed

I'm thinking a sitting area...With two of these!

And one of these!

These mirrors are so Fabulous! Two rows of four will be perfect!

Finally this starburst mirror on the left wall will do the trick!

Stay tuned for the after shots!

{reupholstering & diy magic...}

I have found my new favorite place...Design Sponge! These before and after pictures leave me dreaming at night of going from flea market to flea market finding the treasures that I will fix up and find the perfect place to rest in my home!

This Fabulous console comes from the talented Michelle from Three Men & a Lady...Check out the rest of her creations!

Stay tuned for my future endeavors!...I actually have a few things in my house in mind already!...

{a good wife}...

This is my very first cooking post!...When The Husband and I moved into the house together something in me changed....I don't know if you would call it domestic syndrome or what, but all of a sudden I wanted to cook and bake and make wonderfully tasty food...And for whatever reason I found out I was actually really good at it! Go figure! Here is what The Husband came home to last night!

Heath Chocolate Chunk Cookies

{Ingredients}
2 1/4 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 cup Unsalted Butter {2 sticks}
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Organic Pure Vanilla Extract
2 Large Organic Eggs
1 cup Organic Chocolate Chunks
1 cup Heath Bits

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
Mix the Flour, Baking Soda and Salt together in a bowl and set aside
In a Stand Mixer beat the Butter, Granulated Sugar, Brown Sugar and Vanilla Extract together until creamy!
Add the eggs one at a time and mixing well after each one!
Slowly add in the Flour mixture until it is all combined!
Slowly add in the Chocolate Chunks and Heath Bits mixing slowly!
Put in Refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes! Makes for very chewy cookies!
Place spoon sized blobs of dough on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes!
After cooling on sheet for 2 minutes transfer to a cooling rack...And enjoy!
Makes 4 to 5 dozen cookies!
